About Me

At least I didn't take the easy way out and use one of those cheesy profile designers! I edited the code myself)))

There's a lot to see here, but first, a little about me:
I like to go bowling..(sport or skill..?) .. I play a mean pinball..(spaz) ..I love disc golf (hiking with frisbees?)!! I'm more observant than most, I noticed(haha). I listen to music all day, working or not..When I say listen to music, I mean listen to the MUSIC. Not just the words, but also every note, every cymbal crash. I have a critical ear and I can usually explain exactly why I like something or don't.
One day perhaps I can make a living through music, but for now, my first source of income is electronic repairs. I specialize in amusement machines such as pinballs, jukeboxes, and arcade games, but I can repair most anything, really. I work to live, until I can find a job that is more fulfilling that I can love to live for. "No man on his death bed ever looked up into the eyes of his family and friends and said, 'I wish I'd spent more time at the office.'" Well, I never fit the mold anyway, now did I?!
This page has a few different elements. Obviously my love for music is displayed here, but I've also tried to show some of the things I'm passionate about besides music. I love animals and I don't eat them. I will eat fish, but I at least make an effort to choose from sustainable resources. It's disturbing to me the number of species of animals and fish that are extinct simply because we humans consumed them or destroyed their natural habitat. I feel better since I quit eating meat, both physically and spiritually. It's MY choice, I'm not forcing it on anyone.
I DO believe that we all need to start thinking about Mother Earth, our environment and what's going on with it. What really clicked for me was when I put together that meat eating destroys the environment! What?! Yes, it's a fact that cattle produce more greenhouse gasses than cars and trucks! That's a lot of gas! And why do we raise cattle? To CONSUME them, obviously. So raising cattle for their meat/milk destroys the environment, right? Someone please tell me if I'm way off here!! Anyway, draw your own conclusions, or just ignore the whole thing and keep on eating flesh. This is me and my present viewpoint, and you are you, and I'd love to hear yours.
I've also displayed some art that I enjoy. M.C. Escher always struck a chord for me, perhaps it's my technical thinking and his geometric, symmetric and asymmetric stylings. Maybe I'm trying too hard to think about why I like it! I also love Salvador Dali. If you've never been to a Dali museum or exhibit, such as the one in Saint Petersburg, Florida, I highly recommend it! His Surrealist work is sometimes sexual, often hallucinatory, almost always pleasing, to me. Of course, da Vinci and Michaelangelo's works are magniificent! I've just begun to absorb all their accomplishments!
Several of the banners below are linkable. If you're interested at all, just click and learn, maybe even support some of these great causes.

This next one is a Myspace page for an organization called A.L.F. The A.L.F.'s short-term aim is to save as many animals as possible and directly disrupt the practice of animal abuse. Their long term aim is to end all animal suffering by forcing animal abuse companies out of business. Check out their page if you're interested:
Hugs for Homeless Animals is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. All contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. They have many resources on the site for helping to stop the cruelty of companion animals, finding foster homes, etc.

OK, this one is just a matter of opinion. I try not to buy Chinese CRAP! Just turn it over and look on the bottom, if it says "Made In China", put it back down! It's THAT easy!
EVERYONE loves dolphins, right? I've seen lots of tats on women of little dolphins. While that is cute, it doesn't really HELP the dolphins that are being used, abused, consumed, etc. The Wild Dolphin Foundation protects dolphins through research, advocacy, and education. Their mission is to change human behavior threatening the well-being of dolphins worldwide. Their MySpace page:
Defenders of Wildlife continues the fight to promote common sense wolf management, working with federal and state officials and private land-owners to ensure that science, not politics, guides decision-making about the future of these American icons:

"Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude." - Denis Waitley
..I can't believe it's been 26 years, but I saw the last concert that Randy Rhoads played. I still to this day get chill bumps when I listen to Diary Of A Madman. Knoxville, TN. March 18, 1982. R.I.P. Randy..
"I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do, or any kindness or abilities that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer it or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again." - Walt Whitman
You Are a Visionary Soul
You are a curious person, always in a state of awareness.
Connected to all things spiritual, you are very connected to your soul.
You are wise and bright: able to reason and be reasonable.
Occasionally, you get quite depressed and have dark feelings.
You have great vision and can be very insightful.
In fact, you are often profound in a way that surprises yourself.
Visionary souls like you can be the best type of friend.
You are intuitive, understanding, sympathetic, and a good healer.
Souls you are most compatible with: Old Soul and Peacemaker Soul What Kind of Soul Are You?

My Interests

If you've got just 4 minutes, please put a pause on the tunes, and watch this video:
Just trying to get you to start to thinking "green". What really gets me about the oil industry is who we're buying it from. Not all of it, but some of it is being purchased from people who want to see us DIE. "Us" being Americans!! I believe we are funding terrorism, at least to some degree, by our dependance on oil.

Some of my current interests:
Physical and mental fitness! Bowling, disc golf(frisbee golf), spirituality, and spelunking. Random acts of kindness. Trying to give back more than I take. I'm always trying to learn how to better myself. Almost anything having to do with MUSIC. Learning, loving, laughing, new experiences, future energy development, inventions and tinkering, art museums, theater, rock concerts, singing loudly at random times, traveling, road trips..

"There is a magnet in your heart that will attract true friends. That magnet is unselfishness, thinking of others first... when you learn to live for others, they will live for you. " ~Paramahansa Yogananda~
Got subs? Subwoofers, I mean? I encourage you to play Yes - Talk through them and feel a spiritual experience through their music like something out of this earth.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who thinks they can play pinball, bring your $$, and name the place....!! Any KDGA club member wanting my tag, bring it!!

I'd love to meet the makers of some of the most beautiful rock music ever made: "'Beauty of whatever kind, in its supreme development, invariably excites the sensitive soul to tears" - Edgar Allan Poe.
