For the past three years, building g has been making a name for themselves in the regional Texas and national music scene. The winner of the Hard Rock Cafe's Cabo Wabo contest, building g represented Austin in the national finals. building g was also recognized by the Texas Grammy Association (NARAS) as having one of the top ten demos in the State of Texas over 800 other bands; and was recently chosen by the national NARAS committee to be on the 2007 Grammy ballot in 7 different categories (see latest blog).
With influences such as The Beatles, The Doors, Pearl Jam, Aerosmith, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Matchbox Twenty and U2, building g's guitar driven Rock gives their audience great songs with catchy melodies while maintaining a modern edgy sound.
building g proudly announces the arrival of "Rain" their debut album produced by Mike Rosen . Rain features several singles including the title track Rain, Down, Backwards and Don't Waste Your Time. The band also enjoys current radio airplay on Austin's own KLBJ 93.7 FM and has released "Rain" to over 300 college and independent radio stations throughout the US and Canada (see blog).
