First things first............ computers!!!!!!! Wish I knew more, but I'm learning, slowly but surely. I LOVE making web pages, I have a few websites for Gage as well. I am a "scanner" for 13 years now. I have a Radio Shack Pro-97. It's awesome knowing why that cop is speeding down the road, or where the firetrucks are going.
I pretty much like anything that has to do w/ electronics. :0)
I've worked in a hardware store for 16 yrs now, and I could probably renovate your house w/ my eyes closed. ;0) I love hardware and having this job was the best thing to ever happen to me, because I will NEVER need a man to do ANYTHING for me! (Although WANTING a man to do things for me is a whole other story!!) When I have a man in my life, it's because I WANT him in my life, not because I NEED him in my life. ;0)
There's lots of other things I like, too many to list here, or I'm just not remembering them, so ask! ;0)
OK, so I HATE motorcycles..and would never ride one, however...if THIS isn't the cure all for riding motorcycles, I don't know what is!!
Just SOME of my favourite songs....this one is full, I"m working on more, LOL.
Again...I like lots of stuff. I like comedies and dramas the most. I even like autobiographies, even if I didn't like the person it was about. I love learning about the REAL person, not just the one we see with the public eye. There are so many, too many to list. A couple that I can think of off the top of my head:
Shawshank Redemption, Legally Blonde, Shallow Hal, Men In Black, Most Pixar Movies. Plenty more......
Being a "child of the 80's", I'm into most of the 80's Brat Pack Movies....St. Elmo's Fire (w/ my hunk..Rob Lowe!), Breakfast Club, 16 Candles, The Outsiders, Tex, Pretty In Pink, Class, Oxford Blues. My favourite Brat-Packer...ROB LOWE!
Well, this is easy! ;0)
General Hospital
Jeopardy
Cash Cab (Ben Bailey IS SO HOT!!!)
Little People Big World
LOST
HouseMD (ditto for Hugh, but Ben is TALLER!!)
Who's Line is it Anyway
Will N Grace
Frasier
Little House on the Prairie
Waltons
Mythbusters
I watch lots of shows on DSC and TLC....decorating shows, science shows, as well as forensics shows.
I don't have much time to read...but if I ever have time again....I love VC Andrews, and mostly self help books...Dr. Phil, John Gray, parenting books. Stuff like that.
Not so much heros but idols, I suppose. There's only 2 I can think of....and that's Princess Diana because she did so much for so many people. She should be considered a modern day Mother Teresa (and I think she was) She was so young, she hadn't had a chance to experience the world, and she used that inexperience to do what she did.
Another idol of mine is God......yeah that sounds dumb...but NO, I'm NOT one of them reformed Christians that is going to send out subliminal messages via this site and convert you, LOL. No, he's an idol, because EVERYTHING on this earth happens for a reason, and he DOES watch over us, and guides us. We just have to believe. There is a ALWAYS a silver lining to every gray cloud, no matter HOW DARK that cloud may be. You may wonder WHY would God let bad things happen to you????? Because this is when he TESTS YOUR STRENGTHS, to see if you can survive. Just remember this: That which does not kill you, makes you stronger. As long as you learn from the hardships you had, you will ALWAYS end up a better person in the end.
I knew he was watching over me almost 3 yrs ago, when I had my pregnancy ultrasound and they told me I was having a boy. I knew then and there, He has been w/ me all along, and giving me something I had been longing for my whole life.
