About Me

Evidently, I am part of my own Extended Network. That's oddly comforting.

About my Top 8:

There's been a great deal of fuss and feathers about who gets to be on my Top 8. Some people have even accused me of only putting attractive women that I'm trying to sleep with in my Top 8. This is ridiculous. One, I would never sleep with Tom Hickey. Two, I only use such criteria in casting plays.

So, in order to quell any further rumours and controversy, I have decided to rotate my Top 8 on a semi-regular basis to showcase different groups of my MySpace friends. Furthermore, I have decided to group my friends along themes.

Hey, new theme: 'The Early Years'

Due to a nostalgic weekend, a slight case of homesickness, and a threatening phone call from a certain alcoholic Mormon, I have decided to use my 'Top Friends' function to commemorate my formative years in the City of Oaks, capital of the fine state of North Carolina. I have listed my fellow Tarheels (native and transplant alike) in the approximate order of 'befriendment'. Thank you.

Note: I have also included Andy (from my prequel years in Arlington Heights) and Tom (whom I have always known).

Private to NT(aka QB): I'm ready for my tux fitting. Now make up for all those 'strong drinks' and get some poor girl knocked up.

Stay tuned for more Thematic Top 8's!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Jesus, Einstein, and Gandhi... but only if we had all been invited to a hypothetical dinner party.

And speaking of Parties...

Dee Dee Mango, if you're out there and would like to wrest my affections from the strong grasp of Jenny Lewis, then may the best former child actress win!

I would also love to meet a large number of superficially attractive women who all seem to have the same picture but different names and then buy an outrageously expensive subscription to their "Private WebCam". Ladies, if you fit this description, please send me a friend request. Preferably several per day.

Music:

Amen, Lovefoxxx. Amen.

Movies:

1989's The Wizard. I was 10 years old and this was possibly the single most influential moment in my early cinematic experience: I'm pretty sure that moment screwed me up in ways I'm only now beginning to realize.

Television:

By far, my favorite title sequence on television.

Possibly the greatest scene ever televised, though it loses a little without the context of the episode. Viewer discretion advised.

Heroes:

Tom Hickey
