Kayaking, Running, Hiking, Computers, Games, History, Music-music-music, Musicals, Desert trips, Shodokan, Swing Dancing and more I can't think of right now.
A person that doesn't play games. Someone who is more interested in a meaningful, healthy relationship than in image or appearances for their friends. I'd like to meet someone that I can talk to about anything; politics, ethics, sports, movies, what they had for lunch, what's on their mind, just anything... and someone who in turn takes an interest in me.
I never thought I'd say this, but a person that likes being cherished and treated well. I'm looking for someone who, like me, believe that relationships are founded in mutual respect, trust, admiration, apprieciation, and support. Love follows, but these are the foundation that must come first. In other words, an equal that can push me to be better, and who I can motivate in turn.
I'd like a someone who doesn't keep secrets. Let's be honest, if a relationship is to work out you can't keep secrets from one another. Keep secrets together not from each other. Lastly, someone who's okay spending quiet time together as well as being out and about. It never stops amazing me how many people just want to spend my money. Believe it or not, guys like staying in and snuggling sometimes too. /shocker!
I'll be honest here, I'm tired of games, I'm tired of pretenses... I'm ready for someone who wants to be more than just 'my other half' but wants to be a full equal in a relationship.I know you're out there, where are you?

Current Favs: The Incredibles! (I LOVE the soundtrack, and the film is slick too)
Firefly - an awesome sci-fi show that never got the love it deserved. Sort of a cowboy/adventure/space opera. Check it out :)
Just finished: Good Omens - a hillarious story about the end of the world gone awry. Terry Pratchett / Neil Gaiman... final verdict: I'll be re-reading this one for years to come.
Currently Reading: The Integral Trees - Larry Niven, solid sci-fi. This one is a bit odd, sort of humanity in a more primative form after it escaped the equivalent of a slave ship. Very interesting, not sure I like/dislike it yet.
My grandfather. The man has been married for over 55 years, never divorced... THAT ladies and gents is a hero in my books. God bless em. :)
