Amy Lynn

29 and a half, 30, 31. And counting.

About Me

And that's all can say, really.

My Interests

Just about anything. I'm easy to please . . . although, it does take a lot of self-control to make myself sit through a pro-sports game on television.

I'd like to meet:

Long-lost friends.

Music:

Jennifer Nettles, Tom Waits, Ryan Adams, Willie Nelson, Jay Farrar, Mojave 3, Velvet Underground, Neko Case, Steve Burns, Number 99, Volcano I'm Still Excited and Pedro the Lion and Death Cab for Cutie and The Velvet Teen and Hope For a Golden Summer and Wilco, Joseph Arthur, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Tori Amos, Red House Painters, The LOW LOWS, Bishop Don, Amy Winehouse, Junior Burke, Bob Dylan.

Movies:

All the Pretty Horses, Pirates of the Carribean, Almost Famous, Monsters, Inc., Life is Beautiful, American Beauty, Wonder Boys, Garden State, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Everything is Illuminated, Ghost World, The Princess Bride, Elizabethtown, Little Miss Sunshine, Emma, and the Harry Potter movies because they're great to put on while I'm painting.

Television:

Alias. And Xena. Really really like Boston Legal. Ally McBeal, Grey's Anatomy. AND Ghost Hunters! YAY!

Books:

Dharma Bums (Kerouac), Sometimes You Get So Alone (Bukowski), Blankets (Craig Thompson), Wild Succulent Woman (SARK), The Great Gatsby (Fizgerald), Something Gorgeous (Burke), The Pillow Book of Sei Shonagon, The Last Lunar Beadecker (Mina Loy), Tuesdays with Morrie (Mitch Albom), Tomcat in Love (O'Brien), Point and Line (Thalia Field). Then there are plays - like anything by Shepard or Mamet or Albee.

Heroes:

People who aren't afraid to be open-hearted and genuine.
