My name is Paul William Walker, IV and I was born on September 12, 1973 in Glendale, California to Paul, III and Cheryl Walker. I am the eldest of four children including my sister Ashlie, and my brothers Caleb and Cody.My father was a former Golden Gloves champion and became a business man owning a contracting company. My mother was a former model and decided to return to that career shortly after I was born. Her agent suggested that my mom take me on her assignments, which lead to getting my break in modeling.I made appearances in popular 80s sitcoms, including "Charles in Charge" (1984), "Who's the Boss?" (1984) and "Diff'rent Strokes" (1978), before I decided to take a break from acting and live a normal teenage life. But before all that, I co-starred in two movies, Programmed to Kill (1987) and Monster in the Closet (1987), I also played on one season of the series "Throb" (1986) in 1987. Shortly after graduation in 1991, I decided to study marine biology because of my love for the ocean. I worked odd construction jobs which I picked up from summers working with my dad as a way of earning some cash. Sadly, that didn't last long and I returned to acting, In which I landed a recurring role as Brandon Collins on "The Young and The Restless"(1973) soap opera. That lasted about a year before I took some time off.I, then once again, returned to acting with a role in the 1994 film Tammy and the T-Rex. However, the film did not fair well and the disappointment hit me hard and I left acting behind once again. I spent a lot of time traveling the world, hitting exotic places such as Thailand, Costa Rica and Fiji. My dreams came through when I got a call from my former agent, who told me about a role on "Touched by an Angel". I took the role and was quickly bitten by the acting bug once again... That time, I never looked back.After that I directly landed two film roles, "Pleasantville" (1998) and "Meet the Deedles" (1998), followed by many more films over the next few years, which held my place as one of Hollywood's hottest new stars. I received my big break with the Hollywood break-through film co-starring Vin Diesel, "The Fast and the Furious" (2001). Ironically Vin was also looking for his big break at the time. That movie lead to a steady stream of movies for both of us. In my spare time I like to surf and play other water sports with friends. I take my cars to the track or do some skateboarding. I am a very passionate driver and surfer. I like to describe mself as "a total gear-head" and I own tons of cars including the Nissan Skyline used in "2 Fast 2 Furious". I am a very down to earth kind of guy and I believe that life should be lived to the fullest.
