I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

The most relaxing part of my day is the time when I can read and poop in unison.

My Interests

The usual shit. Books. Fiction. Video Games. Film. Music. Pets. Fancy Beer. Etc.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to do a better job at keeping in touch with people whom I have met and befriended over the course of my life. Not so much meet new people, unless they're really, really cool. And not like "My friend/mom/guidance counselor thinks I'm really, really cool, so you should, too!". More like "I'm working on my 3rd novel/album/poem and have a fatwa on my head for dealing small arms to the Bedu."

Also: Bob Dylan. That'd be pretty cool.

Movies:

Coen Brothers, Martin Scorcese, Francis Ford Coppola, Clint Eastwood, Steven Spielberg, Sidney Lumet, John Waters, George Lucas, Jean-Luc Godard, Francois Truffaut, Akira Kurosawa, Spike Jonze, Spike Lee, Christopher Guest, Paul Thomas Anderson, Peter Jackson, Quentin Tarantino, Alfred Hitchcock, Milos Forman, Charlie Kaufman, Frank Capra, Orson Welles, etc.

Books:

Infinite Jest - David Foster Wallace
His Dark Materials Trilogy - Philip Pullman
Everything Is Illuminated - Jonathan Safran Foer
The Amazing Adventures Of Kavalier And Clay - Michael Chabon
Life Of Pi - Yann Martel
A Heartbreaking Work Of Staggering Genius - Dave Eggers
The Lord Of The Rings - JRR Tolkien
Harry Potter Series - JK Rowling
Cat's Cradle - Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.
Skinny Legs And All - Tom Robbins
"Lost In The Funhouse" - John Barth

More as I get through my evergrowing "To Read" pile...

Heroes:

Jeff "The Dude" Lebowski
