Hi,I am originally from Melbourne, Australia. I moved to the UK in 2001. It was my childhood ambition to play cricket in England, a dream I have achieved. I live with my wife and two very demanding cats. Fortunately they allow me to follow my pursuits and offer me much support (maybe not so much the cats - they support me until they are fed).I have been studying Jeet Kune Do with Andy Gibney at his club in Kettering, Northants since 2005. I can't believe it took me so long to discover Martial Arts, but now that I have, I can honestly say it changed my life.Patience and commitment is the key (as well as getting hit alot). Training has given me a new energy and drive. We are fortunate to have some very good fighters at the club, World and British champion stick fighters hail from AGs humble Kettering training center. Training with these guys really gets you moving. I look forward to attaining a black belt some time in the future, but the journey there is what interests me.I have been very lucky that my work has enabled me to see most of the UK in the 6 or so years I have been here. I do see myself going back to OZ some day, but for now I am enjoying myself here.
