I am here for Friends

About Me

About me huh? Well, I am almost 22 years old. I am going to Mesa State College for my undergraduate studies. I am currently studying European History and Literature. Once I get my B.A. in History I plan on attending a graduate school where I hope to obtain my Ph.D. in History. Teaching history and writing books would be a dream job, but until i am given the opportunity to do so I work at Lowe's. I have been working for Lowe's for almost 4 years now. It is not the best job in the world, but it will, nevertheless, get me through my undergraduate studies. I am very proud of my German heritage to say the very least... and, yes, I have been ridiculed for it so many times that I cannot count them anymore-nor does it bother me. This strong tie to my German heritage came from my mother who is a German immigrant to this country. She married my dad while he was stationed in Germany in the Army. I have 3 sisters whom mean the world to me. All three of them are probably some of the most important people in my life. The most important person in my life is my father. That man has seen hell and lived through it to speak of it as if it were poetry. I salute him with all my heart because there is no better man, father, or friend I will ever meet in my life. Not only that, but he is the only person that understands what it means to be a heroic asshole... I love you Dad :)
