About Me

I am 27 years old and what I call a born again southerner. While I love my Minnesota roots; there is something about the south that feels like home. After I graduated from high school I moved to Alabama and went to a small public liberal arts college called the University of Montevallo. There, in the midst of getting an education I joined a sorority, was on the homecoming committee and dance team and had the best time and met the best people. There are many things I love now, thanks to the south. College Football (WAR EAGLE!!!!!), tailgaiting, country music, NASCAR and beer. The most prominent thing going on for me is that I just got married to the love of my life. His name is Adam Alred and we met after I graduated from college and moved to Atlanta. He is absolutely the best thing EVER and I feel so lucky to have him. We bought our first home over 2 years ago and I absolutely love it.For the last 2 years I have worked for a production company in Loganville, Georgia. It is great because it is a small, but quickly growing company and everything I do affects the success of this company. IThe best perk is that my husband has worked here for the past year and a half. While we don't see each other much during they day; it sure is nice being able to carpool. All in all, life is great. I can't wait to see what happens next :)..

My Interests

Spending time with Adam, my family and friends. Going to the gym, Tailgaiting, Trivia, Bingo, Travelling, and Sleeping.

Music:

I'll listen to almost anything; except for Kenny G and John Tesh!

Movies:

The movie genre I love the best are Psychological Thrillers. I love movies that keep me involved and on the edge of my seat and then surprise me at the end; like Primal Fear and Saw (II). I also love Cheesy Teen Flicks like Bring It On and Mean Girls-I can't believe I admitted that.

Television:

Law & Order: CI, Veronica Mars, Whose Wedding is it Anyway? - What a mix!

Books:

Anything on Tape or CD. Not much time to actually read, but I love books, so the next best thing is listening to them. This is especially beneficial on road trips-although Adam is not to thrilled with them :) I am trying to find time to start Koontz's new Book "Forever Odd." This is the follow up book to Odd Thomas which is absolutely amazing. Also, I don't think it really counts but I love cook books.

Heroes:

I know it is cheesy, but my Mom. I am always amazed at the things she has overcome and accomplished in her life. She is an amazing person and I hope to be one-fifth the woman she is.

My Blog
