Jordache

Hi. First I’d like to say, I’m not that good in English. I write my Lyrics mostly a long time and as you can hear – it’s really Basic English. Nevertheless I hope it’s still clear what I wanna tell in my songs – for those who speak native English also(?) And now a short scribble – who is Jordache… At 21.Sept.1961 in Elblag / Poland – first time I’ve seen the light of the day. When I was 13 – held first time an old guitar in my hands and I knew, music is my destiny. To live from music was pretty hard in Poland at this time. In summer ’89 I left for West-Berlin, which seemed to be a paradise to me; although (before I’ve found my first professional band) I had to play on the streets, or in the tube – still I’ve got more cash, then at home! This fact and a girl that I’ve met by making my music and fallen in love with, were in the end the reasons to stay in Berlin for good. Soon we were a first-class-duet – I sang and she gathered up the change (…and when I’m not careful – she’s still trying the same today! ;-))) I was lucky to see live the German history, when in October the Berlin-Wall has fallen down. Was a really unforgettable and crazy time – and me in the middle of it! And still to this day I’m in love with this hectic, multiculty and just crazy city. Now I’ve got a family and a “normal life”, which takes so much time & power, but what always drives me never to give up the music, is still the same thing – a pure pleasure, a wild joy to sing! Deep in my heart I simply know – I am a singer. And I know - that’s all you need to be the one. Singing – it’s a thing of the heart. No teacher, no equipment, no money, no cleverness or power – can essentially change it. Music you can hear here on this page, has not really some special reasons, conceptions, or big goals, (…any ideas? ;-)) but – it’s really had to be sung out of my heart. - Jordache
