Gold - Fashion of it’s time
Gold represents a homogeneous, stylish spectrum, a reflection of personal taste rather than ephemeral trends.
The aim is to engage, support and develop a range of selected designers exlusively in Cologne. New labels can be integrated at any time, if they fit into the concept.
Essential for any collaboration is a common philosophy and sense of expression to introduce any given brand into the fashion scene. Passion and vision are of paramount importance. These, along with the desire to see fashion evolve and unfold, outweigh mere marketing and economic criteria.
Collections should inspire and challenge, have a tangible and visible personality. They should set their own new markers, as opposed to being interchangeable, ingratiating, feeding on what has gone before.
Gold intends to sell (good) taste, expand the horizons of fashion, offering its customers the opportunity to discover their own style without recourse to commercial archetypes or trends. Fashion of it’s time, ahead of it’s time.
Gold is more than open to incorporating complementary elements into it’s portfolio of fashion. These could be, for example, records and CDs from genres such as electronic, independent, funk and avantgarde, as well as magazines or literature on design.
