Not a big rap or hip-hop fan, but I can say that I'm partial to the newest Outkast CD, but just the Andre one
Sharkskin Man & Peach Hip Girl, anything Takashi Miike, Seven, anything by Jeunet, most Kubrick stuff, The abyss, anything by Wes Anderson, Battle Royale, Eye, Wonderful Days, anything by Zhang Yimao, Shower,....etc etc.
I avoid it if at all possible; other than on weekends during race season
Streets without Joy-Bernard Fall, The Three Kingdoms, Tale of the water margin (Outlaws of the marsh), Language books, anything by David Eddings, hmm, can't think of other at the moment
