About Me

The Omega Theory is a band based in Edmonton, Alberta. There are four individuals that make these original, catchy tunes. Matt(guitar), Ryon(Guitar), ShaUn(drums), and the newest member, Jon (Bass). Matt and Ryon had had the idea of the band aswell as many songs written and ready to play, they just lacked a drummer and bassist. ShaUn met Matt at a liquor store near ShaUn's old place, they got to talking and decided that they were going to get together and see if the music was gonna work or not. Many months down the road they finally got together and, indeed, the music worked. In the end the sound was an eclectic breed of Progressive Rock, Funk, Punk, Blues, and Metal. Laced with soulful vocal harmony and fresh ideas for every song, The Omega Theory proves not to disappoint. If you are in the Edmonton area, come check out a show.
