Or Get Myspace Comments I've been dancing since the age of 2, in many different styles of dance. I started in ballet, then added jazz (some of it is hip-hop), african, modern dance, hula, tahitian, and bellydance.I arrived in California at the age of 9; originally from New York. When arriving in California, we landed in Benicia. I worked in my Mom's chocolate shop from the years between 1984 - early 1986; in which the business was given to a family friend "as a gift." My Mother imported Belgium Chocolates and had gone to Belgium to study a few years prior, and became a chocolatier. During this time, I only danced when I could make it to class.I met my boyfriend (who is now my husband) in 1986 and we've been together ever since. We married in 1996.I'd gone to college, where I then became more involved in dance: ballet, jazz and African. I had this amazing teacher Debra, who used to bring in a drummer for "live drumming African music" once a month. That made my dance education much more enriched & I appreciated the culture a thousand times more. We'd done shows and performances locally. I also acted for awhile and took many acting classes.Last few years, we've been doing alot of wine tasting in Sonoma & taking several trips out there every-year. Thanks to our family, Gary & Niki... Vino bella!A thousand thank-you's to Saiedeh & Yasmine over these many years with Sirens In Sanity (SIS), mentoring me and keeping me out there in the dance. Both are huge inspirations in my life, and make me wanna "keep on dancing."I managed to gain alot of experience in customer service & support, these last 13 years. Today, I find myself in the "customer support business" and "a professional belly dancer." A woman who has two successful careers.
