Kaviraj Dhadyalla

Kaviraj Singh is a very talented musician specialising in Santoor and Vocal. Kaviraj has been under the guidance of Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty in vocal for the past 4 years, and Harjinderpal Singh in Santoor for the past 3 to 4 years. Before this Kaviraj, at the age of 6, started learning from his father Shree Dharambir Singh, a disciple of the late and great Ustad Vilayat Khan Sahib, who is a well known and established Sitar player in the UK and abroad. Also Kaviraj, at the age of 7, started his initial vocal training from his mother Gunwant Kaur who guided him in his early years.Kaviraj Singh showed great promise as a child, coming from a family of musicians, he was always surrounded by music whether it be Indian Classical to fusion music or western classical music. Kaviraj has gained a high level of control over his voice and over the Santoor.
