Band Members: DrB. Resident DJ at the Honeyclub with a list as long as your nan's arm of support gigs, free parties and festivals. With a nice combination of Kid Koala, Mr Scruff, The Prodigy, DJ Shaddow and a load of other influences it stands to reason that he is the cuts kid, keeping the grooves sketchy and unpredictable whilst serving up enough cheese to make that pizza taste good. DrB continues to search for a cure to that which ails the creative listener by continually experimenting with new grooves. "Play two of these and call me in the morning"......... ........... Smokey Hayes. He's been in more bands than a letter at christmas, writing the songs - playing the drums/guitar/bass or whatever no-one else is playing at the time. A formiddable guitarist with fingers of fire and a seemingly bottomless pit of riffs, he can keep the sound as real as you want or as rough as they come. Smokey was also born with a drum machine in his brain which can quantize, syncopate, doubletime, swing, fill, break and cut tighter than an emo's ankles. "Yeah no I Know, wierd.".......... ..........
Influences: DJ Shadow, Braintax, Cypress Hill, The Rza, The Roots, Zooface, Superdense Child, Tommy Guerreo, (Hiphop ad-infinitum) Emmerdale Farm, Alcohol, M.Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Mary Jane, Rock (of many flavours) funk (of many grooves) jazz (of many keys..) classical (of many movements) and classic movies.
Sounds Like: Carefully removing your brain and giving it a good rinse in some soothing warm water infused with relaxing herbs, then popping it back in and going for a cold beer and a bliffta with your mates.
