I like to walk. I like to wake up early. Writing poetry and setting it to song. To Sing. Green tea. Espresso.Bicycles. Singing whilst on a bike. People Make believe and pretending. Finding treasure--things you find in sand in grass on the street Reading books, faces. AnimalsSun light. I like lying in the patches of sunlight that comes through the window, until it moves and I follow it like a lizard on a rock. Wildflowers.Food. I am vegan. squash, spinach, carrots, beets, green apples, asparagus, Hijiki seaweed, purple potatoes, wild rice, hummus,lemons, grapefruits, tomatoes and almonds. Family. Birds. I heard a bird the other day that sang the love theme from Romeo and Juliet. I call it the "A Time For Us" Bird. Toads. Deer. ants---Insects. especially moths. I feel sorry for them when they're trapped inside.I like to scoop them up and let them outside. Which reminds me of Bjorks song: isobel. Isobel was a moth.Lakes. Especially when they're still and the land and sky is reflected. Canoes. Paddle boats. Hiking in forest. Autumn leaves. Autumn is my favorite season. How it smells during and after the rain.Music. Laughter. Balloons.art--because it haunts. It's alive yet a ghost at the same time. You can't help but feel from art, but if it's good it won't tell you what to feel.cooking for people and watching them eat. picnics in the park. when I'm not in the city, looking at stars. The other night I saw a falling star. It was unbelivable. Lavender. Cocoa Butter.Rain. Because it brings us together, have you noticed? I love when it rains in the city, and you feel a greater sense of community--people look at one another, smile,shake their heads and roll their eyes and say, "This rain! Will it ever stop??" and we laugh. and then say, "well, at least it's not snow, right??" I do love that we all become friends in the rain. Also, when it rains we can hide under umbrellas. It's a strange 'invisibility cloak'Theatres. making crazy faces when the theatre is pitch dark--because no one can see you. It's freeing. Inventing strange voices/characters and goofy walks--also a liberating passtime.
Ghosts.I'd like to meet the man I see on the corner every morning and every night sitting on the side of the road scratching lottery tickets. I hope he wins someday.I'd like to meet my grandma who died before I was born. Gertrude. She went to nursing school in Manhattan in the 40's. We would have so much to talk about. Maybe when she died a small slice of soul slipped into me.I wish I could change into different things, rocks, birds, horses and meet the places things and creatures that they meet along their ways.People who teach usTo Love Life
