After graduating The GMASEP program at Camden County College in 2001, I worked as an automotive repair technician or mechanic for 5 years at auto repair shops in Southern New Jersey. After 5 long years, I realized that being a mechanic is not what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. So I thought to myself … “I’m in the gym everyday, why not get paid to be there”? I got certified through The National Council for Certified Personal Trainers in April 2003. Since then I have worked at Bally Total Fitness at both the Deptford, NJ club & Woodlyn, PA club as a personal trainer & personal training director from 6/03-8/05. I have also worked at Gold’s Gym in King of Prussia as a personal trainer from 9/05-3/06. In December 2004, I formed Ironman Corporation LLC a fitness, clothing & printing company. In the spring of 2007, I changed the name to Personalized Fitness LLC while still training people at their homes or offices. I have been involved with sports since the age of 7, wresting for 11 years, 4 years varsity, & playing football for 2 years, 1 year varsity. I have worked out with both professional & amateur power lifters/body builders/strong men, a physical therapist for Temple University & fitness director for the Temple Police Academy, sports athletes & coaches as well as everyday people like you & I. I was a volunteer assistant wrestling coach at Highland High School in Blackwood, NJ for the 2001/2002 school year & volunteer assistant football coach for Williamstown High School for the 2003/2004 school year. I don’t claim to know everything there is to know about health & fitness but I would like to share with others what I do know.
