DeAngelo Michael Redman, is among a new breed of American R&B vocalists, songwriters and actors. His career recently took a meteoric leap when he appeared on the hit MTV realty series Making the Band 4, a program that allowed him to showcase his strong talent and win the hearts of fans around the world.DeAngelo, emerged from a field of more than 10,000 hopefuls competing for the opportunity to make the reality show and earn one of the five spots in new band being formed by hip hop mogul Sean "P Diddy" Combs. DeAngelo made it to the final round of contestants and appeared on “Making the Band 4’s†live season finale which was viewed by a worldwide audience of 5.1 million people.DeAngelo is currently touring the United States performing and promoting his strong R&B sound. He is putting the pieces together on his long awaited first album, not yet entitled. His current single, Dreams, which he wrote and produced,with D.C's recording artist Charmelle AKA Big Momma tells the story of his early journey and hopes of becoming a recording artist. He has two other singles, one entitled, Live Life, a tribute to those who are living and struggling with HIV/AIDS and Foreplay, which is a sultry mix about passionate young romance.Born and raised in Washington, DC, DeAngelo found his love for music at the age of five. By then, he was already performing at talent shows around the city. He refined his voice over the years through vocal classes and continued to work on his talent throughout high school performing in various groups and talent shows. He attended the famed Duke Ellington School of the Performing Arts, before graduating from Northwestern High School in Hyattsville, Maryland. DeAngelo went on to further his education at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland before deciding to leave after a year to pursue his dream of becoming a recording artist in Los Angeles,California.
