Rutherine

Hi I'm Rutherine. I'm known as Jasmine at work. I was born and raised in the Philippines. I left Philippines when I was 14 yrs old and moved to Libya (next to Egypt,somewhere in North Africa) then I moved to Italy when I was 16, then moved to US when I was 20. So I used to speak Arabic but kind of lost it when I moved to US. I do speak Italian though and am very fluent in Filipino (Tagalog). I'm always involved in every church I go to at every state and country I went to. I sing, act and dance. Singing is my forte. I teach dance: Tambourine, Flag, Streamers, Jazz, Hip-hop (depending on the song I pick for a presentation). I act in the church too when needed. Why didn't I join for American Idol? Because I only want to use my talents for God. Maybe when I was younger, I would think of a chance to be a superstar. But now, I have decided to follow Jesus with no turning back. Although I find myself a failure at times when I do wrong things. One needs to be holy ofcourse in order to serve God. At times I feel stuck doing wrong things that made me withdraw from serving God. One thing I've learned is that GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS to us. No matter what, He is still faithful. If it's not of God's love and faithfulness to me, I would have been dead by now. I play piano, banduria (filipino string instrument), octavina (filipino string instrument), flute. I play piano the most because I do my own little praise and worship thing at home when I feel down, when I'm troubled, when God calls me for it, when I don't know what to pray, when I'm happy..etc.. countless reasons.I love filipino food and or chinese food better than the american food. American food is so fattening..eeeww! Well... I eat american food for emergencies like for lunch and stuff like that whenever I would forget to pack my lunch and or have no time to cook the day before to pack it up for lunch. American food... we're talking burgers and fries..etc. Relationships? Yup, I have lots of friends. Boyfriends? Umm... let's keep that as a secret for now. Kids? Maybe in the future, it depends if my man will behave. lolThis is it for now! I have a lot more to share but there's really not a lot of characters remaining. Ciao!
