I'm a journalism junkie from Roseville, Ca. I've lived all over the U.S., most recently, Cleveland Oh. and yes it rocks. Current hobbies include Karaoke, making and playing with photos, making fun of small newspapers, and trying to run one at the same time. I work a lot, go to school more, and still find time to hang out with friends. Oh yeah, and I'm currently teaching a seven year old to play no-limit Texas Hold 'em, if only I believed in Hell...

My Interests

Music:

Anything that involves, singing and actual instruments. this eliminates, all rap, and most R&B, also not partial to artists with accusations of baby rape in their past. Given these two qualifiers, I'll listen to pretty much anything.

Movies:

too many to list, i started my journalism career as a film critic for crying out loud...so I'll just list the guilty pleasures...Dune, both versions, Bridget Jones' Diary, and the bombshell, Battlefield Earth. Yes, i love Forrest Whitaker in anything he does, and John Travolta and Barry Pepper with those fabulous extensions, how can you resist?

Television:

Who has time, World Poker tour to be sure, actually pretty much anything with poker in the title. I'm a closeted reality TV junkie, I love train wrecks!

Books:

Anything by any of the following: Terry Pratchett, Laurell K. Hamilton, anybody with the last name Herbert, Kim Harrison, William Gibson (thx Jim Wisch), George R. Martin, Tim Harrower. Specifics :Poker for Dummies (saved me at my old Monday night game) and Positively fifth Street, the author escapes me.
