DAMAGED ELECTRONICS is a threat to the sanity of music lovers everywhere. Mr FREEK and the TOXICOLOIGIST are two malfunctioning androids that met in Mos Eisley Cantina at the turn of the century. The pair soon realised that they had many shared influences including Chemicals, Slam, Hellfish, Robocop and The Prodigy. The duo use a range of drum machines, synths, hardware, software and even hand made electronics to produce hybrid dance combining the hardtek beets of the free party scene with the high quality production you might expect from acts such as The Chemical Brothers or Orbital. First and foremost they make party music with an emphasis on funky breaks and screaming acid. The dirty pair started gigging in early 2006 and since then have played in a variety of venues including the back room of a pub, quarries, ruined stables, a coffee shop and many a sweaty techno club.
