A mostly sunny day, to some, can look a lot like partly gray.

About Me

I grew up in Northern California and have been living in Colorado for 4 years. I've been married for two years now... How crazy is that? Besides that, I'm currently working on finishing up my Bachelors degree. The whole working full-time/living on my own thing didn't quite work out for finishing it up in the traditional 4 years.Layout made by blaqheartedstar at CreateBlog.com .

My Interests

I love water- swimming, water polo, the ocean, the pool, rain... I also enjoy most outdoor sports- rock climbing, camping, hiking, etc. I like to read, hang out with my friends, and enjoy a good movie.

I'd like to meet:

Friends I've lost touch with and other cool people I happen across...

Music:

I'm pretty impartial with the music I listen to. I like almost anything. I don't tend to know who sings a song or what the title of the song is but I do like eastmountainsouth, Newcomers Home, How's Kelly, Jars of Clay, Incubus, Counting Crows, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews, Nickelcreek, Maire Brennan, The Fray, Norah Jones, Coldplay, Death Cab for Cutie...

Movies:

Hmmm...so many to choose from. I really liked the Italian Job, Newsies is an all time favorite, I like to watch Hope Floats when I'm sad, Disney movies, Shreck, Coyote Ugly, The Sound of Music, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Princess Bride, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Spanglish, Finding Neverland, Dude where's my car...I know, I'm all over the place.

Television:

I try not watch too much TV but when I do, I like Gilmore Girls (although these last few seasons have sucked!), CSI, Law & Order, Without a Trace, Scrubs, My Name is Earl, and sometimes Super Nanny.

Books:

I love Jane Austen books, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Memoirs of a Geisha and I'm a sucker for a sappy love story by Nicholas Sparks. My latest books have been autobiographies and memoirs: Not without my daughter (excellent), Desert Flower, Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time, and Into the Wild. You should read them.

Heroes:

I was named after Corrie ten Boom, who helped Jews escape during WWII and then survived living in a concentration camp. I always thought she was an amazing woman for standing up for what she believed in, even in the face of certain death.
