===========================1961 : Was born in may in Casablanca Morocco .1962 : When he was a year old all his family immigrated to Israel.1975 : At age fourteen he started his classical guitar studies at music studio in Ein Charod Kibbutz.1979 : In the army Meir was a guitarist at the army orchestra where he discovered his love for jazz music.1985 - 1986: He studied at Berklee , his teachers were Jane Bertochini, Atilla Zuller and Jack Wilkins.1986 - 1996: Made his living from jazz playing in new York and played with the famous guitar player George Benson who had a great influence on him. Meir also played guitar with other famous musicans as Bobby Watson, Ted Carson, Lou Donaldson, Grady Tate, Victor Jones, Ran Breton, Gill Cagens, Victor Ponomarov and Frank Wess.1990 : He participated in the J.V.C Festival.1995 : His first album RELIEF released.
The musicans who participated in this album were Andy Mackee, Victor Jones, J. Rodriguez and Yaron Gershovskey.1996 : Meir returned to Israel.1997 : He participated in international festival where he played special music a gesture to George Benson, and was shown on TV.1998 : He initiated a special B-Pop project called "Piutey Bop" where he combined Marocoian music with B-Pop music all Meirs original writing and it was played in the Rad Sea Festival. Meir also participated in Le Turiga festival in Jerusalem, Israel festival and music project of the saxophonist Koren Jess to touch the spirit, the framework of the Jazz Blues Videotape Festival.For the last 2 years Meir is working on his second album that will includeall original songs & instrumental.
