.. Ivo was born in Cagliari. He started to play drums at the age of 15. At the age of 16 he was in his first band in which he play for a year. At the age of 18 he started to study classic and modern drums and african and south americans percussion at the Percussion Art Centre. After a few years he had to leave the school and his city for work's reasons. He lived in Milan, Rome and Naples. In this cities he had the canche to get in contact and to play with several death- prog and power metal bands. While he was away from home he keep on study on his own when his work gave him the chance to do it. When he came back to Sardinia he decided to create a band with Maurizio Barbarossa. The new band was create to mix speedness, power and technique. After a few months they decided to give a name to the brand new band: the name was ResearcH!!!!!
