My Interests

We are interested in hearing from you...Please get in touch and write a letter to the editor and we'll send you some free stuff! We're also interested in hearing from talented individuals who want to join our team of writers and contributors - interview bands, review shows and take photos. We're also looking for hard working interns who want to get their foot in the door and help out at a growing rock and culture chronicle. See above for full info. Hope to hear from you soon. S.

I'd like to meet:

Our favorite bands. Our favorite readers.

We are also currently looking for magazine interns in all areas. Sentimentalist Magazine Seeks Interns Here's your chance to work for one of the coolest indie rock and roll magazines in NYC, or rather, the world.

You'll do the following:

1. Working on and landing sponsorships for upcoming concerts, coming up with new ideas in landing said sponsors.

2. Internship general duties; data entry, phone calls, opening mail, writing last minute reviews, etc, but plenty of perks and coffee too. Honestly.

You will need the following:
1. A lust or at least strong love for indie music and/or writing/schmoozing.
2. A few hours each week or an afternoon free to come to our office and help out here
3. Fluent in the English language. (Journalism, English/writing majors preferred).
4. Web capabilities a plus. Sounds good? Please send me an email ([email protected]) telling me why you should come on board, which bands you like and why you want to work "in magazines".

Thanks for your interest! Please e-mail only. Madeline - Sentimentalist Magazine Editor www.sentimentalistmag.com
