About Me

I'm a chilled out, old fashioned optimist, with a new-age philosophy, & the desire to see & do everything. I've travelled extensively across the globe and have tried to experience many different things. I hope to continue this adventure for as long as I live - which is to say, I only regard working as a neccessity to fund the trips.I grew up in a small village in the south east of England -a village so small that it was named after the largest tree. I worked pretty hard in school until dicovering the joys of alcohol and partying, and then my priorities changed slightly. I went to university to study for a degree but also to experience life and have a good time. I would say it was a resounding success on all levels.I then found myself back home, with a huge debt, and very little memory of those previous years. This was the perfect state of mind in order to break into the world of employment. I joined a company, worked hard at making things easy, and was rewarded with consistent promotions until I was running the office. At this point, I decided I should leave before it became impossible, and started a round the world trip. From England, I passed through Germany & Austria before arriving at Nepal, where I explored the Himalayers whilst indulging in local herbal remedies. From there, I travelled around SE Asia, roadtripped around Australia for a few months, and finally arrived in New Zealand in June this year. From this point on, who knows? I'm back in the working world, but only so long as to save up enough to get travelling again. If only I could win the lottery, then I wouldn't have to break up the travels with the mandatory working.I've been diving in Thailand, swam with Whale Sharks in Australia, climbed Mt. Kinabalu, and bungy jumped 134m of the Nevis Highwire in New Zealand.I've snowboarded in France, Austria, Canada, USA, and New Zealand, and hope to cut some lines in a few more destinations before I'm too old.I basically want to experience as much of life as possible and see what the world has to offer.

My Interests

A start of things to come....

It was a wintry September morning, with rain beating against my bedroom window like a relentless alarm clock nagging me to get up for work. After a battle of wills for roughly 45 mins, I conceded...
