About Me

Ian Olvera Band was formed in January 2006, originally for a performance at Green Bay's Meyer Theatre, we continued on. We played shows continually throughout 2006 with rarely a weekend off. In June of 2006, after performing at the state finals of Launchpad in Madison, WI we took the month off to prepare to spend some time in the studio. In July we did a handful of shows to warm ourselves back up, and spent a week at simple studios in early August with Justin Perkins. We continued playing shows with some of our favorite bands throughout the year, and finished up recording in November 2006. We released our debut ep "Some Of Us Dream" on April 6, 2007 at the Eagles Club in Green Bay. We've got our fingers crossed to be able to keep doing this for many years to come.
"Some of us Dream" can be purchased...
