I'd like to meet:

I am unwilling to list assorted famous names, because the truth is I am willing to meet anyone and have a strange lack of awe in the presence of famous people I have met. So, if you're pretty laid back, or excitable in an endearing way, pretty smart, but not too pretentious, have a thought out idea of what you do and don't believe in, and believe passionately in at least one thing, well, I wouldn't mind meeting you.
Music:
I am not ashamed to admit my favorite music is mine. If I didn't like it I wouldn't write it. If it's any consolation, in general my least favorite songs are also mine. Here are other bands I am fond of: Jarflys, K.O.E., Burn the Fields, Victory Party, Opposible Thumbs, Johnny Poulos (love ya), Colouring Lesson, TomAHto (coming soon), DFL Cartel, Pav Chella, RATM, Pearl Jam, Prince, My Namesake, Lots of Bad Emo That I Won't List Here, Roots, 311, Hendrix, Misfits, Bad Brains, ...I'll keep adding to this, I don't have all day here.
Movies:
Best movies of all time (in no particular order): J-Men Forever, The Groove Tube, Kentucky Fried Movie, Stripes, Bladerunner, Alien, ...again, I'll keep adding.
Odishun...Jeux d'Enfants...Dirty Habits...i owe the last ones to Ashkim...look them up and thank me later.
Television:
No sitcoms...no procedural or courtroom dramas...no reality TV...pretty much nothing on any of the major networks. Now Discovery Channel...THAT'S a channel! ...Ok, fine, I like CSI...but only the original one, and that's not a ...well, yeah, it is a procedural...crap. Um...Futurama
Books:
I don't read as much as I did, or should. Let's start with this one: Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee.
I read it when I was seven and it is, along with my father, the biggest reason for my current world and political view. I expect no less than 250 words, typed and double-spaced, by next week.
I'm half-way through Wicked...and I love Vonnegut and Klosterman, even if I may or may not be able to spell their names...
...I've sucessfully finished Wicked, Shrub, working through The Poe Shadow. oh -- Confederacy of Dunces, and Sex Lives for Cannibals...
Heroes:
Ummm...Hogan? and Caskey. Long live the rattail...and whatever else that was... and you...awwwwwwwwww....
