Despite my damage and imperfectness - I was blessed with a Mom that has always been as loving and present for me as her human limits would allow... Which I'm certain has saved my life in more ways and in more instances than can be counted... that's a hero. - Then there was my Dad, who despite how miserable and exhausted it made him to spend every single day working at two jobs, he dedicated his life to it in order to afford his family a good life with better opportunities... THAT is a hero --- In other ways, there was Spiderman, who I wanted to be growing up... ok I still want to be Spiderman... Today, there is Beth Hart, who inspires and speaks to my soul with her fearless and naked displays of her own... wow... And other true heroes to ME are the people I can call my "friends" - true blue, loyal, time tested, ever present, well intended, fair minded, accepting, straight foward, hang in there with me thru it, never leave you alone in it, speak the truth to you no matter what - friends... these are the most valuable gifts of this lifetime. Heroes.
