About Me

.."center"my film reel -- bits from over the years...
pics.
production photos from my 3 1/2 month tour of 'a midsummer night's dream' with the utah shakespearian festival.
Greetings wayfarers. For those of you who'd like to ADD who aren't familiar with me personally or not from the SLC / Utah area, PLEASE INSTEAD GO TO the profile for my main band, ELiZA WREN & the JEWEL THIEVE$ -- tryin' to keep the personal profile for local and in-person friends, and keep in contact with all you other lovely people via the band profile -- hope that makes sense and doesn't offend. MERCI.
one of my old bands -- vive le Wren...
HELP US SPREAD THE INTERNATIONAL CRIME RING to far-flung and exotic locales by daringly announcing your complicity in our nefarious cause: post the incriminating images (in the act!) and dashingly notorious banner above by copying the code in the box below and pasting it into your profile. Merci.
Thus, on with the shewww.... I'm 36 (look/seem 24-27), an actor/producer/screenwriter + co-founder of a NYC theatre company, musical instigator/hack (bass guitar, etc.), and Feldenkrais Teacher (somatic education through movement -- verrry relaxing). NOT one a' them there hairy man types who hunts/shoots hoop more like the Artful Dodger w/ an edge of dandified flair. +++: travel, the arts, lit (classics, psychology, history, fantasy, spirituality, theatre-related, poetry), cinema (foreign, indie, classic, documentary), la musica (not a lover of crap rap, noveau R+B, smooth jazz, or "new" country, but avidly into a wide range nonetheless Johnny Cash to Wagner, Astrud Gilberto to Joy Division, Miles Davis to Blonde Redhead, Robert Johnson to Yeah Yeah Yeahs), cats (dogs ok too, if a bit needy--rather cuddle w/ a human being). Not much of a cook, but me so dishwashrrr/mr. clean extraordinaire, creative, articulate, easy goin', spontaneous, warm, patient, generous (forgot thrifty brave clean and reverent -- scout's honor!), loyal friend, good listener, attentive, passionate, feel deeply and am intuitive/analytical. Spiritually-minded and appreciative of others' views/beliefs, I celebrate diversity. Woot.
Would-be colloborators (music, film, theatre, world domination), take a look and contact me if you'd like to explore the possibility of working together.
*For all my old friends/acquaintances/nemeses out there, if you weren't aware I'm now residing in lovely-and-talented Boulder, CO to complete my graduate degree (Theatre) at Naropa University. Stop on by and inn-joy that rocky mountain air, weary travelers -- y'all 'r welcome, as always.

(R.I.P. -- may it return soon)
(for YOU True Believers, THURSDAYS in the Basement of The Vortex),
filmmaking, creating music, theatre, lit, poetry, le flics, strategic tabletop games (GEEK!), travel, movement/voice work --want to learn Argentinian Tango, too, just like Gomez Addams...engarde!), snowboardin', travel, camping in the great southern utah backcountry (with plenty of sunblock), etc.

I'd like to meet:

*** ESPECIALLY WELCOME: gals who seem to "intimidate" (with your intelligence, accomplishment, exterior, charisma, whatever it be-eth) -- me likey *** grrrlies who seek to be compassionate and nonexclusionary of others while still having a flair for the lushly dramatic and offbeat (aesthetically I'm a child of the Ziggy Stardust/Stooges/Velvet Underground generation that preceded mine, and the indie/postpunkdom that followed). You're intellectually awake, reflective, curious, tre charmant (*inside* included), have a yen for similar schtuff, of a cuddly disposition, while also valuing your own space/time. Creators, appreciators, or patrons of the arts received with particular enthusiasm.
ALSO INTERESTED in meeting fellow artists of either gender who may be interested in colloborating (music, film, theatre). I'm especially keen on rubbin' elbows with drummers, guitarists, other instrumentalists and song writers.

Nick Cave... dark and creepy. You're a bi-polar
genius, with equal passion for the most
degrading aspects of humanity, as well as the
beauty & wonder of God and Heaven.

Which fucked-up genius composer are you?

Which David Bowie are you?
You are Suede. Youre quite introverted and
reserved. You dont like to draw attention to
yourself, which is a shame, as youre very
talented and unique. You enjoy film and
literature for the glamorous characters and
plot lines, which means you can sometimes be a
bit of a romantic.
