Diva, a term originally used to describe a woman of rare, outstanding talent. A term that embodies the women of Divas De Carnaval.Emerging on the NY carnival scene in 2007, Divas De Carnaval's mission was to uphold the spirit of carnival and promote the culture on a whole. Divas De Carnaval successfully brought out their first section in Rango entitled Blue Sailors. They also put together a kids section entitled Mini Sailors. Both sections were all inclusive and catered solely to each masquerader. With that success, the Divas expanded with Big and Strong Promotions (The People's Choice Band of the Year 2007) bringing Sexy Sailors on the road for Broward Carnival 2007.In an effort to pave the future for our youth, Divas De Carnaval will showcase their very own 1st Annual Kids' Talent Show. Divas De Carnaval wants to give the children in our community the opportunity to shine through their talents. This will be one of the many events Divas De Carnaval will participate in this year to build a foundation for our youth.Stay tuned!!!!!!
