So this is a video clip of my (our) friend, Joe, playing a show not 36 hours after breaking his wrist. Joe was running to catch a bus in downtown Portland late Thursday when he jumped over a 3 foot high wall only to find a 25 to 30 foot drop on the other side. Joe got up (with a dead cell phone battery and no cash for a cab) and ran 10 blocks (on a sprained ankle) before catching a fucking bus to the ER. A cast, sling, ankle brace (and I'm sure a few pain killers) later he was playing an out of town show the next night and then this show on Saturday night. The man is dedicated to what he loves. Check him (and his band, The Mediam) out. They're in my top eight.
