BeatFreaker, although a rookie in the DJ world he is quickly becoming one of Prince Edward Island's premier DJs. Beginning his journey by watching the Island's pioneer DJs such as Putty, Flycore, Robs Brother & Iris rocking out local parties, he became instantly drawn to it. With only the ambition to learn the art and play with friends he never expected to be received the way he has been across Atlantic Canada. BeatFreaker is very gracious to his fans and always expresses his gratitude to those who come out time and time again to see him play. Being known for his electric stage presence as well as his crowd control he has quickly become a fan favorite and developed into a show not to be missed. Also being known for having a great ear for music, BeatFreaker has been rocking dancefloors with some of the hottest tracks for over three years now across the Maritimes and his relentless basslines keep control of the dancefloor all night long, only to leave it screaming for more. BeatFreaker has been a resident DJ in the past with Melon's, Beatfools, Frequency Afterhours, Frequency DJs and in 2006 he started up Fanatic Productions to bring together some of the islands best DJs under label. Since it's creation the company has enjoyed many very successful events across the Island and has an all new monthly showcase starting up @ Brennan's Pub next month.
After getting his chance in 2004 @ the infamous "Disco Series" he was finally recognized as another very talented DJ to come out of the Island and he hasn't looked back since. Jumping onto the East Coast Scene in 2005 he was voted "Most Improved DJ" and has already played @ the same events as some of Atlantic Canada's favorite DJs such as Jay Hamilton, Isis, Funkdub, Sonny D, Soundsyster, Tommy Knuckles, Tony Haze, Big Byrd, DRC, Mathias Trouble. DVD, Steve The Viking, Mix Maxine, Sugar just to name a few with many more on that list. In late October 2005 BeatFreaker released his first mix CD "Don't Need The Drama" which was downloaded over 2200 times from BeatFreaker.com and coming soon he plans to release a series of mixes ranging from the days when it all began to his current musical tastes.
With a resume of many successful events and achievements including Disco's Dead, Another Sunrise & Twilight he has made a name for himself throughout the Atlantic Provinces. Due to the huge success of 2005's Halloween event "Housework" @ Sub Rosa in Halifax, NS which was voted "2nd Favorite Event For '05", he was offered a spot on the label with DJs Big Byrd, DRC & recently added Clifton F. In 2006 BeatFreaker decided to relax for a while and concentrate on Fanatic, but yet he still enjoyed many successful local events such as the Digital Rebirth Party, Official Black Eyed Peas After Party & various other Live @ Hunter's events. Also on Canada Day last year he was part of an amazing lineup @ Kanata Bambata in Freddy, NB which was headlined by TO's Paranoid Jack and was held by Ultrasound Productions @ Club Fusion. With all of this he continues to try to expand his knowledge and improve his skills behind the decks whenever he can.
