What began as lingering terse narratives and informal brainstorms quickly evolved into something much more tangible. An idea to launch not just a new EBM electronic label in North America, but to bring about the rich catalog of sounds and merchandise primarily enjoyed in Europe. Launching in late 2008, Electrostate will serve as the label for Xenocanon and True Logik, as well as an emporium for import and domestic EBM-industrial-synthpop-goth, electroclash cds and merchandise. Electrostate makes no apologies for the current state of underground cd sales, but instead embellishes the opportunity to bring this music and culture to a wide audience so far untargeted and initiated. As well as serving the needs of those hungering for European releases at a cheaper price.
