Those of you who REALLY know me know that I gave up trying to chase the elusive music career in 1992 and would only have agreed to attempt something like this again if there was something incredibly special about the material. Well, there is.Ian is a good friend of mine, but I do not let that cloud my judgement. His songwriting and lyrical content come from the heart, are based on life experiences, and are downright catchy. All of these are ingredients for hit music. Believe me when I say that no producer would do something like this if they weren't very confident that they can make this happen.The CD is now complete and a limited number of advance copies are available. As for me personally, I have recently started up my own promotion company, Scarrett Productions, and am working with Borderline in Thousand Oaks to promote a country showcase once a month.Life is currently very busy, which is good, because life is meant to be lived. It also should not be taken too seriously, after all, as a wise man once said, none of us gets out of it alive. ;-)
