About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Dark & Simple

With all 4 members hailing from different places around the globe including Baltimore, Trinidad, Sweden and Los Angeles, it’s amazing that Todd, Gold, Pierre and Lucia came together in the city of Angels with one single goal in mind: to play rocking music from the heart! With an unwavering determination to jump around on stage and spill their guts out, Escaping Zane delivers an enthustiastic perfomance with heartfelt songs that combine elements of pop, rock, punk and alternative. Armed with their upbeat, hook catchy tunes, EZ has made true friends and fans from Australia all the way to Japan.Escaping Zane is an LA foursome who’s "all-pistons-pumping songs pack a pure pop rock punch" and "they keep one interested in the show by their sheer work ethic and perseverance", according to Music Connection Magazine. EZ’s songs including Bury Me First and NoWhere Fast have been quickly moving up the charts on Garageband.com.All of us from EZ are very proud of our accomplishment last year, which was getting to the national finals of the international battle of the bands Emergenza festival this year. We played to a packed Key Club on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles and the feedback was awesome!

Friday, March 28, 2008 at Level 3 in Hollywood, California: three UCLA bands and three USC bands went head-to-head at Rock Out Rivalry II. Let’s not forget last year’s winner and USA4real’s December 2007 Featured Artist Rejn (USC) headlined. Seven bands in all and like most battles, rivalries bleed their school colors to the bone; traditionally only one winner walks away victorious. Despite the great performances by all the bands, this night was no different. This year’s winner comes from the blue and gold variety, out of UCLA. The Rock Out Rivalry II winner is…Escaping Zane!In the very posh neighborhood of Westwood, a band comprised of four members united at one of the most gorgeous campuses in the universe. Each band member came from random places on the planet, Baltimore, Trinidad, LA, and Sweden. Certainly a non-typical, only-in-LA scenario, needless to say their path was the same. As many artists have different journeys, the road leads to the same place. Most find a way to come to LA searching for success in their chosen art form. Escaping Zane found the beginnings of glory last Friday night at Level3.Todd sings amazing vocals and so does Gold while providing some very exciting punk alternative guitar riffs. A sexy bassist never hurts either; Lucia fills the role well as she shreds sick bass lines to the rhythm of Pierre’s aggressive drumming. A strong turnout from UCLA and crowd participation sure helped, not just talent alone could win this battle. The overall total package had to have been the deciding factor says the judge from LIVE Nation."I really liked the Petes from a talent "it" factor perspective, but Escaping Zane had the total package to win this competition which is what it takes to make it in this business." -Matt ThomasFour unique cultures band together to win Rock Out Rivalry II. So - well deserved, "Escaping Zane is USA4real’s April 2008 Artist of the Month." The Bruins won this year’s competition — Go Zane!-Luke WryderFor Booking: [email protected]
