Lets see, I am interested in my friends and family, bettering Christie's World, learning everything humanly possible, understanding people, politics, anything that sparks a passionate conversation, music and movies, poker, football, sometimes baseball (but I have to be in the mood), jeeze, the easier question would have been what am I not interested in...
Honest and direct people who I can trust, old friends, a guy who will actually approach the "Does this outfit make me look fat?" question with honesty (and bravery), a girl who isn't a bitch, President Bush, Johnny Depp, a lawyer with a conscience, Timothy Leary, someone to talk to
Hard alternative: Deftones is the best band ever in my opinion, but Last Winter is a close second. Check them out at LastWinter.com I also like Tracy Chapman, Fleetwood Mac, Blondie, and Cake. I don't stick to a specific genre, I try to remain open to all types of music and tend to vary my CD collection so I don't get bored.
Fight Club is the best movie ever made in my opinion, but I also love the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I have to admit that Orlando Bloom is a small part of that. Seriously, I loved the books when I was a kid and the movies are extraodinary. I really wish there were more movies that made me actually think rather than just sit and be mindless, so when I do actually come across one, I am thrilled. Besides that I like pretty much anything slapstick, suspense, drama, just not much on chick flicks with the exception of When Harry Met Sally.
OK, I admit it, I am a Survivor addict! But Sex and the City and The Sopranos beats all!!!
Other than Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit (and FYI, I read them like 15 years ago so it's not a "I read them because of the movie" thing), I love the Harry Potter books because my son and I read them together. For my own enjoyment, I will read anything I can get my hands on, but I love Dean Koontz and Anne Rice. The last book I read was Blackwood Farm by Anne Rice.
TinkerBell is my hero because she never had to wait around for Prince Charming, and she saved Peter Pan's ass!
