MySpace Editor by Guide-on.net I am a traveler and a poet, an artist and a seeker, a businesswoman and a sage, a goddess of compassion and a breaker of honest hearts, a lover and a healer, a fish out of water and a phoenix rising from the steam, a listener with magic hands and a homeless soul restlessly wandering. I am a dancer listening to the heartbeat of the world. I am part Indian and part cat and part everything else and have more names than I could begin to mention: dragonfish, white tara, urchindevi, shemunyonpa, ishtar. Shemunyonpa means crazy girl and tho i did not name myself this - it was aptly given. I am a writer and a reader and a seer and a communicator. I want to go to every place and i want to learn every language. I love to speak to people in other languages and can already do so in Chinese, a little Tibetan, and a bit of Vietnamese, Khmer, Lao, French...but it is never enough. I want them all. I am a lily pad with roots that can sink, then pull up, move and sink again. I am a point on the web, and the web itself, an opener and a bearer of light in dark places. I come from an incredible family who helped to make me what I am and who accepted the parts of me that seemed to come out of nowhere. These days dragonfly and snake, hummingbird, lizard and crow walk with me. My name metamorphoses regularly as does the rest of me and the current chrysalis is ending as something new breaks free. Probably many people think I am nuts, and they are probably right, but that's okay with me because then they see the light in my eyes and in my smile and begin to think that maybe nuts is okay... My name for today is Nomad Poet - and I mean poet in the dead poet's meaning as one who sucks the very marrow out of life. As someone once said: If Death had a voice it would scream at the sky and say "Live while you may, for I am coming!"
