About Me

all right, so my profile has needed a little bit of updating. My name is Philip Rock. I'm currently 18 years old and from St. Louis Missouri. I'm a pretty cool person, or so i'd like to think. I play saxophone, guitar and drums and i sing. I like to write songs and have fun. I'm in an amazing program called the YMCA leaders club that has helped to make me the person i am now. If you want to get to know me, get to know my friends. I love and am fascinated by people and the interactions between each other. I want to be a psychologist when i'm older and i want to be able to help people. My main lesson in life is to take things easy. Don't get strung out on the things in life that frustrate you, get strung out on the little things that you can enjoy. Every leaf that falls from the trees, every drop of rain that hits your head is a beautiful moment that needs to be embraced.

The first song on here has been the most important song to me in the past two years and it's how i live my life. it's an honest song with great morals and ideas

I love: monty python and the holly grail, saw (i think it's psychological genious), Robin Hood Men in Tights, Star Wars (jokes now), Lord of the Ring, Harry Potter (more jokes), and a bunch of others... i basically like anything that's not a chick flick and some of those can (rarely) be good

Alex Rider series, harry potter, white fluffy clouds by brandon boyd, welcome to the ark, sward of the rightful king, and a lot of other books that i start and don't always finish

Heroes:

anyone who has made it through a large barier and managed to keep a tad bit of sanity... also anyone who has spoken against injustice.
