So it's been a long trip for me from attempted band to attempted band, but all along I was writing songs. One day as I was playing a bunch of my songs I realized they explained my life over the last 2 years. I also realized "shit these songs are never going to be played with my band (Inherent Worth) so I need to do my own thing." eventually my band broke up after our drummer went to college and I’ve been just doing my own thing since. Over the years I have played at leaders schools little friend and family gatherings and Mochabees (a local coffee shop in St. Louis). in 2006 at the vans Warped Tour I got the amazing experience of playing "Swing Life Away" with Tim of Rise Against which started a friendship with him and the band as well as with the director of the DVD Davy Rothbart (found magazine, 21 Balloons productions). The songs that you will find on this page are mostly acoustic and a little more personal then the stuff I use to play with my band but since I currently don’t have a band I’m currently trying to record a full CD and start a new band."Phil, you're the next Dave Grohl"
-My friend Sam Holland"You're a rad player man... I like how you don't try to sound like me when you play my songs."
-Tim from Rise Against"this is a song I wrote about a year ago and Phil helped me out with it. Basically I wrote it and Phil made it awesome"
-Alicia Arnold (about her song little girl before performing it at leaders school)..
