Reno's Answer to the Man in Black

About Me

Well lesse here... First thing most people note about me is the fact I'm typically donned in all black. No, I'm not a goth or some late stage case of teen angst, I just look damned good in the color. The second thing people note is that I'm a writer, though I suppose that isn't entirely accurate. Anyone can write if given world enough and time. No, I suppose I fall under the category of author. I'm told I'm pretty good... Okay, VERY good, but I'm my own biggest critic and wish to become better at my trade. But you don't really care abut any of this do you? Afterall, it was a picture that brought you here, was it not? So allow me to put a name to the face. I am John. If you desire to know anything else, do the most logical thing and message me.

My Interests

I have many interests, but I suppose my primary ones are writing, martial arts, paintball, airsoft, and hiking.

I'd like to meet:

The holy father of course. Albert Einstein would be a good one. Sean Connery is another. Lastly, the immortal Stephen King.In terms of humans I guess anyone who can carry on an intelligent conversation. I don't do drama, and I get a little irritated with people who lack basic grammar mechanics. I am a writer by trade afterall. But, if you think you'd like to have a nice chat, here's my messenger info...AIM- johnrevans6MSN- [email protected] j_evans6

Music:

I like older music, some of the new stuff is good, but most of it makes my ears bleed(That's jazz speak for music that REALLY sucks). Oh yeah, I'm a HUGE Frank Sinatra fan.

Movies:

Gotta love the classic horror films of old. Friday the 13th, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street. I also like psychological thrillers like Silence of the Lambs, and the Saws. OH! If you haven't seen it already, check out a movie called "Thank You for Smoking". Most brilliant political satire I have ever seen. What Reservoir Dogs Character Are You?
You're Mr. Blonde, played by Michael Madsen. You like to torture people and get a good laugh from it. You're one sick fuck. You are the main reason that most people walked out on the movie.

Television:

I try not to watch TV. Reading a book is far more engaging.

Books:

Yet another category that I could well... write a book on. I love to read and write. My alltime favorite stories are those that I have written. Okay, so I'm a little biased, but there's nothing like being able to enjoy something that you've written. I also like books by Stephen King. His grammar mechanics aren't the best, but he can sure tell a story. Check out The Dark Tower series if you haven't already. The Stand and the Shawshank Redemption are also brilliant works. Lastly, The Holy Bible is a driving force in my life. Without God, I would have been dead long ago.

Heroes:

I have only one hero, my father. He is the only man that I respect in this world.
