Reading, driving, pro wrestling and other more real sports, improv comedy (watching, not playing, thanks!), surfing the Internet (obvious, I know), and just trying to enjoy what I'm doing at any given moment... and my blog at http://robster2001.wordpress.com .
You.After all, you did take the time to come here and visit, so please leave a message. Or add me. Or both. :)
Pop, rock, and '80's, mostly, although there's a little of everything stashed on the iPod.I play '60s/'70s on the radio on weekends (Saturdays 10am-3pm, Sundays noon-5pm) on Richmond's 107.3 BBT (which is actually on 107.3 FM/Richmond and 100.3 FM/Petersburg).
Movies: I'm not a movie-type person. I don't really like movie theatres... I'll catch movies that interest me on cable or DVD.
TV: Sports, news, game shows, *some* reality TV... let's be honest, most TV series either require far too much commitment (not to name any names -- "Lost", "24", "Heroes") or far too little intelligence (almost everything else)... I usually find one good series a year, and watch it get cancelled. It was "Studio 60" in 2006-07, and it looks like I've cursed (ha!) "New Amsterdam" this year.
OK, I watch "Deal or No Deal" and "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?"! Satisfied???
The 5-book Hitchhiker's Guide trilogy. :) Or almost anything written by Scott Adams.
Other than that, it's mostly non-fiction or that undefined category known as "pop reference" (at least, by me)... a lot of reading along the lines of the stuff I need to know if I ever do manage to get on Jeopardy!.
Heroes aren't anything but a sandwich.
You have to find your motivation inside, not outside... and I'm partial to people who follow their own course, instead of someone else's... after all, if you're not you, who are you?
