WHAT DEFINES ME?
What about me? I guess I'm a very unique person, but aren't we all in our own way? Just like no two zebras have the same stripes, no two people are exactly alike. That makes us all unique. I guess I'm just not so black and white, like most zebras...not to say that I'm a zebra. I'm a human. I wouldn't want to be a zebra anyway. As cute as they are, they get eaten too much. I don't want to get eaten.
VEGAN.
I like to eat, not be eaten. I am an excellent cook but I only cook vegan meals because that's what I am and it is a huge part of my life. I am a very compassionate person and I have a love for all walks of life. The way animals are treated in the food industry is unacceptable. Although all might not agree that it is wrong to kill and eat animals, not many will argue that the way animals are treated on factory farms is just plain wrong and immoral.
RELIGION.
I am an extremely religious person. I try to keep a personal relationship between God and me and live my life with good morals, peace, forgiveness, understanding, love, harmony, etc. I enjoy philosophies and also drew my beliefs from a lot of history, text and tradition from other religions around the world but most of all, try to follow the examples of Jesus. Whether you believe in him in the literal sense or just as a mythology, he is still the best role model you can look to when trying to figure right from wrong. It's hard being human and we need a role model. I think he's a pretty darn good one.
FRIENDS.
I love all of my friends deeply. I have a very close circle of friends who are family to me. I love each of them like a brother/sister.
FILM.
As it is plain to see, I am a filmmaker. It is my passion. I love to tell a story. I love to entertain. My favorite part of making a film is getting to watch my movie with others and see the joy/excitement/thrill/etc. I brought into their lives for 90 min. That's why I make films. For you. For your entertainment. My joy is seeing other people enjoying themselves. I have many, many films I would like to make; however, the lack of money makes it very hard. It has been a very long, difficult road and it's not about to end any time soon. I have endured many hardships just to get where I am today and I still have long to go. I do thank everyone who has been there for me and supported me along the way, and continue to. I cannot do it without each and every one of you. Thanks!
MUSIC.
I play the drums. I've been playing for about 14 years. I've been in a few bands, played on several stages but right now my stage is the basement. I haven't much time anymore to play in a band anymore because I've been actively pursuing my film career. I still get behind one of my kits whenever I can and it always makes me miss playing in bands. At one point in my life, I couldn't decide between a music career or a film career. I know I could have made it in either one if I gave it my all, but I couldn't make it doing half of each. I had to choose one and give it everything I've got. I guess it's obvious which one I chose, but music is still an active part of my life. Someday when things settle down, I'd like to get in a band and record some stuff.
