Happiness just might get me there

About Me

Laid back... just about sums it up. I am slowly piecing together my recording studio in my spare time. I like bowling and Disc Golf, any sport that less cordinated people can compete with athletes (see my wife's profile) on a level playing field is cool by me. I have weird fascinations with strange things, like my belt buckle collection, and Star Wars 1st edition books. I am back to the writing stages with music, and enjoying more and more engineering.(see StarStateSounds Productions)

You scored as Cyclops. Cyclops is the team leader of the X-Men, and a skilled one at that. He loves Jean Grey very much. He's a strict and sometimes uptight leader, but he believes in his cause and he knows what he's fighting for... Peace between Mutants and Humans. Powers: Optic blasts

My Interests

Music, an all encompassing answer (playing, recording, listening, watching), and I guess anything else creative:art, film, literature

I'd like to meet:

Duh.. Maynard, Henry Rollins, oh and Vanilla Ice (again). David Bowie would be fun to walk through the Louvre with.

Music:

Anything truthful with good musicians....epic pieces that can still hold the listener's attention are always welcome to my ears.

Movies:

I really like indie flicks with awkward camera pauses and really bad puns, Vampires and Zombies are always good to throw in for variety.

Television:

Currently watching Heroes. Past fav's include Dead Like me, Carnivale, MacGuyver, Smallville... and many other's.

Books:

Catch 22, Brave New World, 1984, Anything by Brett Easton Ellis, Tolkein, C.S. Lewis, Poe, Slaughterhouse 5, Yates, Butler, Shel Silverstien... you get the picture. cross the boards. I guess i should also mention my collection of Star War's first edition hardbacks.

Heroes:

Anyone who has ever succesfully communicated an idea or belief they had to another individual and enriched their life in doing so.

Swimming again

There's something freeing about being underwater.  My thoughts seem to try to fill the void of outside noise however.  There is clarity reached if you swim long enough though.  That is ...

Why my dog reminds me of Disney

It's nothing magical, but this dog has already started showing signs of the lovable Stitch from "Lilo and Stitch".  Yesterday was a very high badness level day for Shiner.  He still goes rig...
