About Me

I work too much and need a break. I'm active, but like to relax. Throw me on a tropical beach and I'm sure I'd be quite happy for a while. All I need is sun, water, a boat and a margarita. Well that would at least be a good start. I'm not a big fan of closed minded people. Quit Judging and just enjoy your own life. Oh and bring me a beer when you got time.

My Interests

My favorite thing to do is wakeboard. If that's not possible I like: watching movies, roadtrips, snowboarding, traveling, watching college football (I'm a Duck), watching the college hoops tournament. Pro Football is good. I use to love going to watch the Blazers play, but that kind of sucks now. The NBA has gotten pretty bad. Bring back the old school matchups (Lakers vs Celtics in the 80's) That was good stuff. Granted I'm old. People watching is fun. I like seeing a group of clones and laughing. I guess origionality is a lost way of life. Reality television kind of sucks. I don't care who wants to marry who, or what people will eat for money. It's just a bunch of crap. I spend a lot of time writing. Hopefully I will make some money at it one day. That would be nice. I'm pretty close to my family and spend a lot of time in Hood River with them. The older I get the more important family becomes, or something like that. I've had a bunch of worthless friends in my life and as I go to the bars less and less, we sort of drift apart. I guess you have 3 kinds of friends. Friends that are there for life, friends that are there for a reason and friends that are there for a season (also known as drinking buddies). I've always had more seasonal friends. You party for a while, or what not and then you go separate ways. The long term friends are the best. I still like to go out and have fun, I'm just not 21 anymore. I don't have to put on a show, or act like I'm Mr. Cool. I probably tried that once, but what's the point. Who cares. I am who I am and I don't care who I impress. No, I wasn't born with a trust fund and daddy doesn't buy me whatever I want. I have to work for what I got. I would have taken the trust fund though, it would have made college a lot less expensive for me. I tend to avoid the trendy places and I rarely go to the same bars anymore. I like to change things up. I get bored doing the same thing everyweekend. Boring. I love the water, the beaches, camping, hiking, boating, and yes Crown and 7up (an excellent drink). I really like vacations, even the small ones like going to the coast for a weekend. I've been doing that more and more. It makes for some pretty good stories. And prepare for getting old. It's not something you can avoid. I've started to realize that more. Till later then.

I'd like to meet:
