Hailing from the St. Croix River Valley, now by way of The Garf's basement, DEVITALIZE formed in November of 2004. Since then they have made their presence known quickly and viciously within the Twin Cities underground metal scene. After thinning the weak from thier original line-up and RE-vitalizing the rhythm section, the band is now at full force and deadset to destroy everything in thier path!!! Jake Martin (vocals), Dane Jensen (lead), Shawn Smalley (rhythm) Tony Garfield (drums) and Wes Nelson (bass) bring the shit with an always intense and often violent, bloody set, DEVITALIZE blend both physical and technical brutality into a sound and stage show all their own. If you've seen them live you know... if you haven't, you don't have a clue what your getting yourself into... prepare to be devirginized by DEVITALIZE bitches!!! In the bands short existance they have already infected The Minnesota Metalfest 2006, openning for legendary bands such as VADER, DESTRUCTION, KATAKLYSM and THE MENTORS as well as Chicago Metal Devestation Fest III. DEVITALIZE are also honored to have shared the stage with VITAL REMAINS, GOATWHORE, GRAVE, DISMEMBER, GOD FORBID, MNEMIC, ARSIS, DEMIRICOUS, WITHERED, GRAVEWORM, SPEED/KILL..HATE, THE ABSENCE, THE HUMAN ABSTRACT, WACO JESUS, LIVIDITY, CEPHALIC CARNAGE, GORGASM, MUTILATED, FECAL CORPSE, SIKFUK, INCINERATE, EXULCERATE, SAPROGENIC, QUINTA ESSENTIA, DEAD FOR DAYS, RELLIK, SOLIDIFACATION, MORAL DECAY, TRUCULENCE & ANAL BLAST.Thier debut album is due out by summer 2007 on EPITOMITE PRODUCTIONS .
