It takes more than a day to achieve greatness

About Me

I am currently pursuing a BFA at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. It's a rewarding challenge and I love it, mostly. I graduate in May 2008!! This is extremely exciting. I'm very passionate about the performing arts - acting, singing and dancing. Using my art to help better the world, and raise understanding and have a fun time in the process. I'm a poor struggling student/actress at this point though so if you feel like helping me out. It's appreciated:I just finished The Miser at Seattle Shakespeare Company and earlier this year was in The Cider House Rules and a cabaret called (Un)decided at Cornish. Life is good when you follow your dreams!I can be a bit shy at first and am generally on the quiet side, but can also be completely outrageous at moments. I try to live truthfully and in the moment. I love people who are true to themselves and honest and animated and passionate about life.Don't try to fix me, its not your job. "Don't walk ahead of me I may not follow, don't walk behind me I may not lead, just walk beside me and be my friend."I firmly believe: Everything happens for a reason. Even though I may not know it at the time. What does not kill us makes us stronger. Love is always beautiful and should never be regretted. Feeling is better than not feeling. Honesty is best I'd rather live in hope and trust than bitterness and mistrust forgiveness is the best gift in the world. When there's a struggle I'd rather fight for what I want then give up True friendship is more precious and more rare than anything.
You Should Be an Actor
You have a flair for the dramatic, and you probably already do a lot of acting in your day to day life, just to entertain yourself.
No need to steal the spotlight from your friends... You'll get plenty of attention once you start acting professionally! What Sort of Artist Should You Be? The above painting is done by Dianne Gardner an amazing local artist. See more of her work at: http://gardnersart.com/

My Interests

the arts, acting, singing, dancing- especially bellydance, drumming, visual art, cooking, etc. I'm also very interested in such things as: aromatherapy, auras, natural healing, herb lore, mythology and folk tales, yoga, tarot and palmistry. Reading about different religions, Buddhist and Wiccan thought really appeal to me, though really I'm more spiritual than religious I love animals and have cats, and am interested in some day having other animals. Animal Totems fascinate me and I think learning from and respecting nature is important.I love cheese, chocolate (especially dark), and good wine and like cooking, fine dinning, fondue parties, soup, sushi, good food in general and tea.I'm attracted to creativity, compassion, intelligence, honesty, integrity, nice eyes, hands, and smile I occasionally enjoy an evening of karaoke, dancing, movies, poetry, board games, reading, and my favorite - theatreI travel as much as I can (which sadly isn't as much as I like) I would love to see the world more and learn about other cultures.

I'd like to meet:

People who are interested in working together, making good theater, film, and other things artistic and creative.New friends, people I used to know, people I know now. I like people who can carry on a intelligent conversation and are witty. Its also important that they have an appreciation for the arts. Non judgmental people who will love me for me.I generally only add people to my friends list if I know them in real life or have had some conversations via email or instant messenger, so if you send me a friend request randomly and I dont accept it dont take it personally I just feel I dont know you yet. So send me an email.
